Can we watch something on the iPad while we sit and eat our dessert?

Me:
No. Clem took the iPad with him to Portland.

Eleanor: 
Why!?!?!

Me: 
Because he needed it for his trip. 

Eleanor:
He didn't need it, he wanted it.
