Eleanor (after hearing me mumble under my breath but not even actually saying the word, just the tone):

Me:

No. It's not a nice word.

Eleanor:

But we can say "shut the fuckin' door". 

Me:

No. It's really not a nice word. You shouldn't say that. Mama shouldn't say that either. 

Eleanor: 

But I can say fuckin' in my room by myself. 

Me:

Well, I mean, guess you could. 

Eleanor (whispers fuckin'):
