Clem (in the Target parking lot):  Why do we lock our car?

Me: So that people can't get into it and steal our things.

Clem: If they did we would just shoot them with our pistol.

Me: Well, I don't carry a pistol with me, so I don't think that would work.

Clem: We could beat them up and cut them into tiny pieces and eat them.

Me: I'd probably just call the police.  I suppose you could beat them up, but we don't eat people.

Clem: Why don't we eat people meat?

Me: If we ate people we'd have to kill them, and it's not nice to kill people, is it?

Clem: No.  But what if they were already dead?

Me: Well, we just don't eat people.  It's just not something our culture does.

Clem: But why?
