Clem (in listening to a conversation about a friend): Where is her dad?

Me: He doesn't live with them anymore.  The got a divorce.

Clem: What's a divorce?

Me: It's when two people decide they don't want to be married any more. 

Clem: Why don't they want to be married anymore?

Me: He changed his mind.  He just didn't want to be married.

Clem: Mom, don't change your mind.  I don't want you to not be married anymore.
